Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah has felicitated Muslims on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and saying “our Eid celebrations will always remain incomplete unless we end the illegal Indian occupation and win our freedom”.

“Our Eid celebrations will remain incomplete unless the arrested mothers, sisters and Hurriyat leaders are freed from their captivity,” LeT spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi said that “The whole nation is in war and India is trying its best to sabotage the indigenous freedom struggle of Jammu Kashmir, but the brave sons of people and Hurriyat leaders are spoiling all Indian wishes into dust. The victory shall be ours, Allah willing,” he said. LeT chief said Government of India’s “negotiation drama” is merely a move to buy time with no positive outcome.

“The Indian atrocities under the ceasefire drama are no more hidden from the world. The blood of innocents was spilled in the sacred blessed month of Ramadhan but with the help of Allah Almighty, the brave sons retaliated against the oppression. We are the heirs of martyrs and the stone-pelters are our pride,” he said. “The sacrifices by students of Jammu Kashmir are unforgettable. The public are the supporters of mujahideen and the freedom fighters will never hesitate from offering any sacrifice in the freedom struggle. This relationship is built on the very foundations of Islam, Kalima Tayyiba, and no power on earth can sabotage this relationship. India must quit Kashmir otherwise it will never be able to sustain its very existence.

We once again congratulate people on the auspicious occasion of Eid.” LeT chief said as the blessed month of Ramadhan is coming to an end; it is time to take care of martyrs' family members, the needy, the poor, neighbours, relatives, and sick and remember them in celebrations.
